TENEDOS ( BOZCAADA )

As important island in the ancient history. Bozcaada which was called Tenedos is at the entrance of the Dardanelles (in turkish: Çanakkale BoÄŸazı), just across troy. (in turkish truva)

I heard the Story of Corvus :
Corvus vineyards was founded by architect ReÅŸit Soley to resurrect history of viticulture in Bozcaada which date back to 3000 years.
​
He had a dream to plant vineyards on the unfertile land of Bozcaada when he had put his heart into his work. This great dream came on the wing of crow. They followed their black friend in the small island. This crow is also guided them. Soley’s thought that crow was aware of the history disappearing before the people. To follow, you need to move quickly to catch up with crow’s black wings…As the crows rises higher that great dream will become reality …!
Corvus name was given to the wine. The latin word “Corvus” means “crow”. It is meaning in turkish “karga”. The inspiration for the selection of this name came from the crows of Bozcaada. .. Corvus, a world famous wine brand of Bozcaada that will enjoy a long future.
What makes Bozcaada so special ! “ Terroir, meaning earth or soil ”. I tasted red wine ! … texture of the wine told me about its background and territory. Definitely! wine producing is an art and their vision to produce exceptional wines.

I have heard about Soley’s favorite food was “courgette blossoms with warm cheese “. You can find original tapas flavors of “spanish cuisine” and appetizers with olive oil from ”Aegean cuisine” and also “regional cheese varieties” …“Passito Corvus” produced as natural sweet wine of Türkiye. You should also taste this wine !!

Kereviz, elma salatası, Rokfor,ceviz, beyaz şarap sirkesi ile
Celery and apple salad with roquefort cheese, walnut, white wine vinegar
