We said our farewells to 2013 & Say Hello to 2014!..Hope it’s going to be a great year for everyone.

Foccia bread was delicious !

Foccia Bread & Natural Olive Oil – Pairing Cheese & Wine on the table makes me a happy one !!!
Foccia bread Italian bread ingredients flour, water,olive oil, salt and yeast. Foccacia is eaten accompanied by seasonal toppings.
Foccacia bread may also be stuffed with soft cheeses and greens but you may prefer to make some changes

 

Füreyya Balıkçısı

Füreyya a tiny,fish restaurant in the Galata Tower area.
Delicious “fish soup” at Füreyya.The presentation was great! Do not fool by the small size of the restaurant, It was recommended in an article in New York Times.

Morini Restaurant

New York’s “ King of Pasta”, Michael White is in TURKEY !!!

This is really one of my favorite places. The service was efficient and sitting at the bar was comfortable.
Great place for a long and delicious meal.

We started off with Appetizers: Gnocchi and Grilled Octopus.
Highly recommended !
We sampled two different Pasta dishes: Gramigna and Garganelli with ragu.
All pastas were cooked perfectly al dente, unbelievable !
For Dessert, I tried the panna cotta, It is an popular italian dessert. “Panna Cotta” will please your taste buds, as well as your eyes.
Superb service !!!

 

Jamie’s Italian Restaurant

After the dinner, you may order the italian dessert. tiramisu with coffee, chocolate, mascarpone was superb !!!
Italy’s most popular dessert will please your taste buds, as well as your eyes.

 

Tomtom Suites Hotel&Nicole Restaurant

Tomtom Suites Hotel is a member of “Small Luxury Hotels of the World”
Rooftop dining overlooking the “Bosphorus”

The foods are “avant garde” and “world class”. Nicole, offers delicious “Fusion food” with “Turkish and Mediterranean flavours” And combined with French techniques.

Two tasting menus are available, “A la Carte & Set Menus”. Set menu is 2 tasting menus. Short& Long tasting menu

Enjoy !! Mrs. Aylin’s favorite hommade breads with walnut, artisanal ice-creams, desserts and handmade chocolates”.
Very classy venue, “a bit pricey” but well worth it.

The Peak Hotel

You can enjoy various drinks or cocktails in a combined Junction Restaurant&Bar, which has a special balcony.
Leverde Restaurant offer excellent food at very reasonable prices !!
“buffet brunch” is a great way to start your day.

This Hotel is quiet and nice touristic place.

La Mancha

The building has three floors. İncirli Şaraphane, Kydonia and La Mancha. Each floor has its own distinctive ambience.
There are plenty of boutique wines for the wine connoisseurs. I’m also besotted with upstairs bar with views over the Bosphorus!
If you enjoy Mediterranean tastes try Spanish, Italian and Moroccan style prepared dishes.

 

Ferah Feza Restaurant

Eat&Drink While Facing Amazing Bosphorus. !!
Ferah Feza, İstanbul’s trendy gourmet dining spot. If you like nice Bosphorus views while sipping a glass of Premium wine , you will enjoy this restaurant on terrace
Restaurant creates symphony of flavors as its name suggest happy musical mode !!

Taste Traditions of İzmir

If you find yourself in İzmir ..The Turkish cuisine has amazing traditional pastries.
“Lokma” is İzmir’s super sweet pastry. Tiny balls of yeast dough are fried in hot oil and steeped in syrup.
There are also different types of pastries : Boyoz, Kumru, Katmer, Simit also known as “gevrek”..

Bogo Cafe, Seferihisar Sığacık, İzmir Province :

Sığacık is the port of the Seferihisar. Sığacık has a beautiful views in a lovely fishing village

Seferihisar is the first Citta-Slow town and Citta-Slow member in Turkey.

You should try Bogo Cafe. Food was amazing pleasantly !
Classic breakfast and Omelette with herbs, There are different types of pastries: Boyoz,Kumru,Bazlama
You should also try ”Sığacık mandarin jam ” is enormous flavors !

NAPLES&POMPEII : Pompeii, a Roman city destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvio on August 24, in 79AD. This is very interesting and sadly History.

This island is famous for lemon drink called Limoncello, Homemade wonderful wine&bruschetta!
The most famous in Naples, Cittaslow is a movement founded in North Italy in October 1999.
