At One Weekend,

Travel from İstanbul to Tekirdağ. Tekirdağ is a city to the west of İstanbul. Day of may, my  friends and I  took a road trip to the village of Büyükkarıştıran which  is a small town of Lüleburgaz, Kırklareli Province.

​

Tekirdağ  has  warm climate.  City has an important viticultural. Many kinds of grapes have exist and fertile soil. All their kitchen vegetables are nurtured their  own greenhouse. Enjoy! the many benefits of eating organic food. I first went there for lunch  with my friend and then we were  invited.

Above all, I would like to thank to “Chamlija family “ for their hospitality and efforts. They entertained  to us at “Çamlık Restaurant” at the pine grove (in turkish Çamlık)  We are very pleased to have joined to us.

Excellent service, the most delicious meat-ball, sausage, lamb/goat chops on the tandouri, yoghurt, shepherd’s salad, varieties of cold starters and finally dessert ! Super delicious pumpkin dessert with plenty of walnut.

​

“Tekirdağ köftesi” called “meat-ball” is a popular  traditional delicacy in Tekirdağ. The people visiting the city from İstanbul at the weekends just to eat. One of the traditional delicacies in Turkish cuisine.

 

We Enjoyed delicious meatballs. if you ever go to Turkey, do eat “Tekirdağ Köftesi” with salad and yoghurt. Yoghurt, so smooth and delicious, is the best known.

The town’s “goat meat “ is good traditional food. Goat kid, served as an appetizer. It is an amazingly tasty dish. It will tickle your taste buds by eating. We were placed bread crumbs in a bowl and dip them into the goat's soup. You should definitely try this. It is a good place to eat and has food that is fresh.

Besides, relaxing with sounds of birds, forest. we enjoyed just sitting  and drinking !. There are Indoor space and an outdoor garden. Their parking is also available.

 

 

Note : If you are expecting, “goat meat” should be provide  in late “April” and early “May”.
