Time Out magazine, organized the third annual 101 Tastes of Istanbul Festival (in turkish,101 Lezzet Festivali) on Sunday, April 26, at Sait Halim Pasha Mansion (in turkish, Sait Halim Paşa Yalısı) in Yeniköy

101 Istanbul hosted the city’s food lovers and Time Out readers. Leading food and beverage community was also attended…

However, there were special cooking events, speakers, and also live broadcasts…

 

Sadly, I must say that I was a little disappointed with the festival of this year.

“Taste of 101 Festival” was super crowded and Mansion was small place. So I couldn’t move away from the crowded to take photos!

Despite the crowds I have enjoyed my visit to the festival. Food Festival was an opportunity to get together with gourmets.

I would like to thank chefs who did such a wonderful foods…

There were 101 different types of food. We had an opportunity to taste many of them.

RUDOLF RESTAURANT

Celebrity Chef Rudolf Van Nunen who loves cooking was revealed himself during festival.

 

TOPAZ RESTAURANT

Fowl with lavender and pumpkin purée was perfectly done

 

VIRGINIA ANGUS

Virginia burger was favourite food in festive!
Gourmet Burger is also offer a variety of options; Burgers are all made with Angus Beef and heavy

 

DEVELİ RESTAURANT

Velvet Cafe’s flour halva (in Turkish, Un Helvası) was absolutely luscious and so easy to make!

COFFEE BREW LAB

Turkey’s most popular 3rd wave coffee shops are Coffee Brew Lab, Coffee Nutz, Coffee Sapiens, Kronotrop.

Coffee is one of the most popular drinks in the world. Third Wave Coffee (In turkish 3. nesil kahveci) is increasingly in these days. It is a proficiency coffee movement to produce coffee as an artisanal and high-quality.

The Baristas had the opportunity to show off variety of brews . And they encouraged us to get a “cup of coffee”
As an example, my favorite Barista was Özkan Yetik who is a champion Turkish Barista from Brew Lab.

 

LE CORDON BLEU COOKING SCHOOL

Le Cordon Bleu’s students gathered to show off their culinary skills at festive.
